What we've been up to recently

I thought I'd take a minute to mention a few of the fun jobs we've done lately. This past week I went to Naples, FL for a client having a leadership conference. My role there was to record "man-on-the-street" style interviews for playback the following day. The purpose was to let people ask questions of upper management, and have them addressed at the conference. We set up a small conference room as a studio for the recordings. Since we work in an all-digital environment, the interviews were captured directly in my laptop editing system, where we were able to make edit decisions immediately following the recordings. I then burned a DVD for the AV company to play the next day.

A few weeks ago we helped produce the New Hampshire Business Review's Business Excellence Awards at CR Sparks. The event was a two-fold celebration...for the Awards and in recognition of NHBR's 30th anniversary. We provided the visual elements for pre-show and show, including a sponsor loop with trivia questions dating back to the eighties, all the supporting videos for the award winners, and a special section celebrating the anniversary. We also provided the audio for the event, including a playlist of music dating back to the early eighties.

The political season was good for us too. We had the opportunity of supporting NBC, NECN and NHPTV at a number of debates, as well as covering the visits of politicians at local businesses. Although I am grateful for the work, I'm glad the season is over.
